Job summary

Intermountain Health in Grand Junction, Colorado seeks a Surgical Technologist to join the operating room team. The role supports sterile technique, instrument prep, and intraoperative assistance under RN supervision, with advancement opportunities to higher ORT levels.

Qualifications

• This role requires completion of an ORT program and BLS certification.
• Level II/III advance requires additional specialty experience and call ability.
• US work authorization and competency in basic procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sterile field and ensure sterilization criteria for OR items.
• Prepare operating room and instruments for procedures.
• Assist surgeon in the procedure within ORT scope of practice.
• Support room turnover and post‑op cleanup.
• Identify emergencies and respond with appropriate procedures.
