Job summary

Intermountain Health in Grand Junction, Colorado, is seeking an experienced CVOR Surgical Technologist to support cardiovascular procedures in a fast-paced OR. You will maintain sterile technique, scrub high-acuity cases, and collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and the broader surgical team.

This role offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and opportunities for credentialing and professional growth. The position requires completion of an ORT program or equivalent, BLS, and scrubbing experience in CVOR;

Qualifications

• BLS for healthcare providers certification.
• Completion of an accredited ORT program or graduation from a non-accredited program within six months (not eligible for Tech in Surgery exam).
• Two years of scrub tech experience in hospital/military surgical services within the last three years.
• Ability to scrub high-acuity cardiovascular/neurological/trauma cases and call in Level II trauma facilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare OR, instruments, and sterile processing for procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and assist surgeons in the CVOR.
• Identify emergencies, support room turnover, and participate in staff training.
• Lead or mentor staff as Specialty Leader or Clinical Expert in case flow and orientation.
