Job summary

Intermountain Health in Grand Junction, CO is seeking an experienced CVOR Surgical Technologist to join the cardiovascular operating room team. The role requires providing scrub support, maintaining sterile technique, assisting with complex procedures, and collaborating with surgeons, nurses, and staff.

The position offers a level IV pay range of $35.60–$54.93 per hour, full-time hours, and possible sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 or relocation assistance depending on eligibility.

Qualifications

• BLS for healthcare providers certification is required.
• Completion of ORT program or recent graduate of non-accredited surgical tech program.
• Two years scrub tech experience in hospital/military surgical services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with sterile processing and prepare operating room and instruments.
• Support surgeons and nurses with high-acuity cases in the CV OR.
• Maintain sterile technique and patient safety throughout procedures.
• Respond to emergencies and manage room turnover.
• Provide education and mentorship to staff and new hires.
