Job summary

Piedmont Medical Network - Fort Mill Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technologist to assist physicians during procedures and ensure the endoscopic suite is prepared and sterilized. This role participates in staff meetings and improvement activities, contributing to high-quality patient care.

Required: some college or vocational training, BLS CPR within 7 days of hire, NBSTSA certification within 90 days. Preferred: 1–2 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: Some college or vocational training.
• BLS CPR certification required, must be obtained within 7 days of hire.
• NBSTSA certification required within 90 days of employment after various pathways.
• Preferred: Up to 1–2 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patient needs appropriately and prioritizes problems.
• Uses unit standards; identifies resources per guidelines.
• Maintains policies with safe clinical skills and responds to patient condition changes.
• Evaluates and modifies care based on patient outcomes.
