Job summary

Piedmont Medical Network - Rock Hill Hospital in Rock Hill, SC is seeking a Surgical Technologist to assist physicians during procedures and ensure the endoscopy suite is prepared and instruments are sterilized and functioning. You will participate in performance improvement activities and staff meetings.

Required: some college or vocational training, NBSTSA certification within 90 days, and BLS CPR within 7 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Some college or vocational training required.
• BLS CPR certification required within 7 days of hire.
• NBSTSA certification required within 90 days of employment.
• Military training in Surgical Technology acceptable for eligibility.
• Experience: Up to 1–2 years of job-related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during procedures.
• Prepare endoscopic suite for procedures.
• Ensure instruments are cleaned, sterilized, and functioning properly.
• Participate in department staff meetings and performance improvement activities.
