Job summary

You will prepare the OR, maintain sterile field, organize instruments, and assist throughout procedures under RN direction. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, demonstrate strong sterile technique, and collaborate with surgeons and staff in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• BLS certification required. (American Heart Association)
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through NBSTSA required.
• Previous experience in acute-care hospital/OR preferred.
• Knowledge of sterile/aseptic technique and surgical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room, establish and maintain the sterile field, organize surgical instruments and supplies.
• Provide direct technical assistance throughout operative procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons and perioperative team under RN direction.
