The Surgery Center of Fort Lauderdale is hiring a Surgical Technologist Scrub Tech (FT). The role supports surgeons by scrubbing for procedures across GI, Orthopedic, Pain, Plastic and Podiatry, while maintaining a sterile environment.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, completion of a Surgical Technician program, state certification as required, and prior ambulatory center experience. Strong teamwork and effective communication are essential.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED; completion of a Surgical Technician program.
• Certification as required by state and/or center.
• Experience in an ambulatory surgical center preferred.
• Knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.
• Ability to adapt quickly to patient condition and work in a team.
• Strong communication and collaboration with staff and physicians.

Responsabilidades

• Scrub for surgical procedures and maintain sterile field.
• Prepare supplies, instruments, and equipment.
• Support philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center.
• Participate in quality improvement activities.
