Job summary

Banner Staffing Services in Glendale, AZ seeks a Surgical Technologist for Registry/Per Diem assignments. You will prepare for procedures, pass instruments, and maintain aseptic technique in a fast-paced operating room.

You must have 18 months of Surgical Tech experience, 12 months recent within the last 18 months, and BLS certification. Orientation is a full-time, week-long training period with options for virtual and in-person sessions.

Responsibilities

• Prepares for surgical procedures and pulls instruments/supplies
• Anticipates surgeon's needs and passes instruments during surgery
• Demonstrates aseptic technique and universal precautions
• Disposes of sharps and trash and prepares instruments for cleaning
• Assists with OR turnover and stocking of supplies
• May provide administrative support to the department
