Job summary

Glendale Surgical Center, part of United Surgical Partners International, Inc, seeks a Surgical Technologist to join a fast-paced ASC environment. The role requires scrubbing for procedures, maintaining sterile fields, and preparing supplies and equipment.

You will support quality improvement activities and the surgery team, with a Monday–Friday schedule and no call, nights, weekends, or holidays. Two shifts per week are required in a setting focused on Orthopedics, Total Joints, and Pain

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a Scrub Technician Program; certification preferable.
• 2+ years of scrub tech experience in multiple specialties; orthopedic experience preferred.
• Able to interpret medical terminology related to OR procedures.
• BLS certification (AHA) required or eligible.

Glendale Surgical Center has a PRN opening for a Surgical Technologist.

Glendale Surgical Center is a fast-paced, multi-specialty ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families. This center specializes in Orthopedics, Total Joints, and Pain Management. We have 1 Operating Room and 2 procedure rooms.

What You Will Do (Job Summary):

The Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. Maintains a sterile field during surgical procedures. Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment related to these procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center. Supports and participates in quality improvement activities.

Need to be able to work 2 shifts per week. Monday-Friday work schedule NO call required NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours

Hourly Range: $25.00 - $45.00/hour, depending on experience

Required Skills:

Education And/or Experience

• High School Diploma or GED
• Completion of a Scrub Technician Program. Certification preferable.
• 2+ years experience as a Scrub Tech in multiple specialties or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Need experience working orthopedic cases.
• Able to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Other skills and abilities: General familiarity with medical terminology as it pertains to anatomy and surgical procedures for an operating room.
• BLS accredited by AHA
