Job summary

Surgery Partners is seeking a PRN Surgical Technologist to support operating room teams. You will prepare equipment, set up the OR, and assist surgeons and nurses throughout the procedure.

Responsibilities include assisting with patient prep, passing instruments, maintaining sterile fields, and post-op cleanup. CPR certification and completion of an accredited surgical tech program are required; 0–2 years of clinical experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is required.
• 0–2 years of clinical experience in a related field is preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited surgical tech program or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain medical equipment for procedures.
• Set up operating room with instruments, drapes, and supplies.
• Assist surgical team by passing instruments and supplies.
• Help position patients and apply dressings as needed.
• Observe vitals and assist with patient care before, during, and after surgery.
• Support sterilization, handling of specimens, and post-operative cleanup.
