Job summary

Cape Fear Valley Health System in Fayetteville, NC seeks a Surgical Technologist (ST) to serve as the scrub technologist in the operating suite. You will assist with aseptic technique, instrument setup, and patient care under RN guidance to support operative goals.

The role requires good English, attention to safety, and adherence to policies; one year of ST experience is preferred, with CAHEA program completion encouraged. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of Surgical Technologist program from an Accredited CAHEA Program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain aseptic technique and scrub duties.
• Assist with instrument setup and case preparation.
• Participate in patient care within scope of practice and unit guidelines.
• Access medication/supply room for patient care items.
• Transport and escort patients as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and patient privacy.
• Support educational and performance improvement activities.
