Qualifications

• Graduation from ARC-ST accredited surgical technology program.
• Nursing degree from accredited school may substitute.
• Surgical Technologist Registration in WA.
• Registered Nurse in WA.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room and patient for surgery using asepsis principles; sets up sterile equipment, instruments, drapes and solutions; assists with scrubbing and preparation of sterile field, gowning/gloving team members.
• Helps the surgeon and assistants put on surgical gowns and gloves.
• Adapts quickly, collaborates with the OR team, and supports the patient’s healing process.
