Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking a Surgical Tech to help prepare the operating room and surgical team for a variety of procedures. You will set up equipment and instruments, assist with scrubbing, and help maintain a sterile field throughout the operation.

The role requires adaptability and strong teamwork within the OR, contributing to the patient’s healing process and supporting complex surgical procedures. A sign-on bonus is available for this position.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a surgical technology program accredited by ARC-ST or equivalent.
• Surgical Technologist Registration: WA, upon hire; RN WA may substitute in specific cases; CPR/BLS required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room and patient for the surgical procedure using aseptic techniques; sets up sterile equipment and instruments; assists with scrubbing and gowning/gloving.
• Assists surgeon and assistants with gowns and gloves; supports the surgical team to maintain a sterile environment.
