Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is hiring a Surgical Tech to support operating room preparation, aseptic technique, and instrument handling. You will assist the surgical team, ensure a sterile environment, and contribute to patient healing through precise team collaboration.

Ideal candidates have ARC-ST surgical tech training or WA RN licensure and BLS/CPR certification, with potential six months OR experience preferred. Join a historically renowned health system serving the Puget Sound region.

Qualifications

• Graduation from ARC-ST accredited surgical technology program (upon hire).
• RN license in WA may be substituted for surgical tech graduation (upon hire).
• Surgical Technologist Registration: WA, upon hire or
• Basic Life Support CPR certification, upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room and patient for surgery using aseptic techniques.
• Assists with scrubbing, gowning and gloving, and sets up sterile field.
• Helps surgeon and assistants with gowns and gloves and patient positioning.
• Transfers and positions patient on the OR table and maintains sterile drapes.
• Assists anesthesia personnel as directed by a qualified practitioner.
