Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health seeks a Surgical Tech to prepare the operating room and assist the surgical team across a variety of procedures. You will set up instruments, help maintain a sterile field, and support the patient’s healing process while collaborating with OR staff.

Requirements include an ARC-ST accredited Surgical Technology program or RN with WA licensure, WA Surgical Technologist Registration, and CPR/Basic Life Support upon hire. A sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• Graduation from ARC-ST accredited Surgical Technology program or RN with WA license.
• Surgical Technologist Registration: WA, upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) – upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Set up operating room and sterile equipment for procedures.
• Assist surgical team and ensure sterile environment.
• Transfer and position patient, assist anesthesia personnel as needed.
• Participate in Surgical Safety Checklist and Time Out for every patient.
