HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital in Florida seeks a Surgical Technician (ORT) who will assist in a variety of invasive and non-invasive procedures under the direction of the RN and Surgical Services Supervisor. You will maintain aseptic technique, keep equipment in good working order, and ensure supplies are stocked and ready for use.

Candidates must have a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential and Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment.
• No travel required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in invasive and non-invasive operative procedures.
• Maintain aseptic technique and prepare equipment and supplies.
• Assist RN and Surgical Services Supervisor during procedures.
