Job summary

Planned Systems International, through its QuarterLine unit, is seeking dedicated Surgical Technicians to support surgical teams at Madigan Army Medical Center, JBLM, Tacoma, WA. The technician prepares patients, ORs, instruments, and equipment while maintaining strict sterile technique.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year experience, CST/TS-C or MOS, and BLS certification, with ability to work quickly in high‑pressure situations. Government onboarding is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Surgical Technician/Operating Room Tech experience.
• US citizenship for government contract work.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC; valid cards required.
• Board-eligible or certified CST/TS-C; MOS accepted.

Responsibilities

• Perform sterile and aseptic techniques throughout procedures.
• Prepare, organize, and maintain instruments, trays, and equipment.
• Position patients, assist during procedures, and manage counts.
• Monitor for complications and assist with postoperative care.
• Maintain OR safety, sanitation, and inventory; report incidents.
