Job summary

Resolution Think LLC. in Tacoma, WA seeks an experienced Surgical Technician to support operations at Madigan Army Medical Center, JBLM.

The role involves preparing patients, operating rooms, instruments and supplies, maintaining sterile technique, and assisting during a wide range of procedures including OB/GYN, trauma, and routine surgeries. The ideal candidate has recent OR tech experience, knowledge of surgical instruments and equipment, and the ability to respond quickly in emergencies

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Surgical Technology program accredited by CAAHEP/ABHES or equivalent military training.
• Must possess CST/TS-C or MOS certification as surgical tech or OR tech.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for surgery.
• Set up surgical instruments and equipment and maintain sterile environment.
• Assist during procedures and anticipate surgeon needs.
• Perform surgical counts and assist with postoperative dressings.
• Maintain patient safety and communicate with the surgical team in high-pressure situations.
