Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking a Surgical Technologist to assist surgeons, prepare equipment, and maintain sterile technique throughout procedures. This role supports patient safety and efficiency in the operating room.

The successful candidate will have strong English communication, familiarity with regulatory requirements, and the ability to work with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of technical experience preferred.
• Knowledge of surgical instrumentation and aseptic techniques required.

Responsibilities

• Anticipates surgeon needs and informs circulating nurse during procedures.
• Maintain high standards to support cost savings and containment.
• Assemble supplies, equipment and medications before procedures.
• Support satisfaction efforts; maintain relationships with physicians and staff.
• Monitor aseptic technique and correct any breaks in procedure.
• Ensure regulatory standards and safety policies are followed.
