Qualifications

• NBSTA Certification must be obtained within 1 year of program completion.
• High School Diploma.
• CPR certification or able to obtain within 60 days.
• 2 years of surgical tech experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain sterile fields for surgery
• Pass instruments, anticipate surgeon needs, and handle specimens
• Perform sponge, needle, and instrument counts
• Clean OR post-procedure and prepare tools for sterilization
