Job summary

Qualifications
- Completion of accredited surgical tech training program.
- NBSTA Certification must be obtained within 1 year of program.
- High School Diploma
- CPR certification or able to obtain within 60 days
- Experience: Minimum of 6 months as a nursing assistant and surgical tech with previous OB experience desired
Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain sterile fields for surgery
- Pass instruments, anticipate surgeon needs, and handle specimens
- Perform sponge, needle, and instrument counts
- Clean OR post-procedure and prepare tools for sterilization
