Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist for the Park City Hospital to support the operating room team. You will maintain sterile fields, prepare rooms and assist surgeons during procedures, following strict safety and sterility protocols.

The role includes SCU call requirements, varied shifts, and a pathway for advancement within the ORT series. BLS and ORT program completion are required, with opportunities to grow in a dynamic, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Completion of an accredited ORT program or recent graduation from surgical tech program (within 6 months).
• Two years scrub tech experience in hospital/military OR within last three years.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the sterile field and operating room environments.
• Assist surgeon(s) during procedures while staying within ORT scope.
• Prepare OR and instruments; assist with sterile processing as needed.
• Identify emergencies and apply appropriate procedures.
• Turnover rooms after procedures and prepare for next case.
• Pathway for advancement to ORT II, III and IV.
