Job summary

Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist or equivalent education meets criteria.
• Minimum 1 year of acute care surgical tech experience preferred.
• Strong sterility, instrument handling, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures.
• Set up sterile supplies, instruments, and equipment for surgery.
• Transport patients to the operating room and assist with positioning.
• Pass instruments and supplies to the surgical team during procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and track instrument counts.
• Document surgical procedures and counts accurately.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiologists.
• Assist in preparing the surgical site with drapes and solutions.
• Manage surgical drains and catheters as directed.
