Job summary

The Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Inc. seeks Surgical Technologists for full-time 36- or 40-hour rotating shifts in Boston, MA. You will support the operating room team, prepare sterile environments and assist surgeons and nurses in a fast-paced perioperative setting.

Candidate with OR experience is highly preferred; a $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible new hires and a comprehensive benefits package accompanies this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program.
• Current Surgical Technologist Certification is required within one year from graduation or equivalent military/US public health service training.
• Preferred Experience: 1–2 years of OR Surgical Technologist experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the operating room environment.
• Support the perioperative care of patients and maintain sterile technique.
• Assist surgeons, nurses and the perioperative team to ensure safe, efficient OR operations.
