Advocate Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join the team at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center Gastrointestinal Services in Milwaukee. The role supports sterile technique, assists surgeons, and maintains a safe operating environment.

Responsibilities include establishing a sterile field, passing instruments, and helping with patient positioning and transport. BLS certification and completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program are required.

Competenze

• Aseptic surgical techniques knowledge relevant to operating room set up and instrument handling.
• Ability to pass instruments and assist surgeons during procedures.
• Commitment to patient safety and sterile environment.
• Good customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency for documentation and hospital systems.

Mansioni

• Set up operating room per case and maintain sterile field.
• Assist in variety of surgical procedures and anticipate surgeon needs.
• Ensure room cleanliness, safety, and efficient turnover between cases.
• Function as Second Assistant when required.
• Transport equipment and patients as needed.
• Maintain and check surgical carts and equipment for readiness.
