Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking a Surgical Technician in Walnut Creek, CA, to support the operating room under the supervision of the OR Manager/Director of Nursing.

You will maintain sterile technique, prepare instrumentation, and assist surgeons to ensure patient safety and efficient procedures. The role requires 1–2 years OR experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and CST certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of approved surgical technician program.
• CST certification preferred.
• Minimum of 1-2 years experience in the Operating Room.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain medical equipment for surgical procedures.
• Set up instruments and sterile supplies for operations.
• Assist with positioning patients and handling sterile drapes.
• Pass instruments to surgeons and assistants during procedures.
• Operate sterilizers and suction equipment.
• Transfer patients to recovery and restock the operating room.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
