Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking a Surgical Technician to assist the operating room team in Mosier, Oregon. You will help prepare and maintain sterile fields, pass instruments, and ensure proper setup of operative equipment.

Requirements include a Surgical Technician certification and CPR/BLS certification, plus completion of an accredited surgical technology program. Preferred are a high school diploma or higher, an associate/technical degree, scrub tech experience, OR training, and CNA

Qualifications

Surgical Technician certification required.
CPR/BLS certification required.
Completion of an accredited surgical technology program required.
Preferred: high school diploma or equivalent and additional certs.
CNA certification preferred.
Ability to perform aseptic techniques and maintain sterile fields; detail-oriented and organized.

Responsibilities

Assist the surgical team in preparing and maintaining sterile fields.
Pass instruments, supplies, and medications during procedures.
Ensure proper setup of operative equipment.
Perform instrument, sponge, needle, and blade counts with RNs.
Transport patients, complete clerical duties, and perform housekeeping tasks as needed.
