Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Surgical Technician/T tissue processing tech for travel assignments across Oregon. Responsibilities include sterilizing equipment, preparing tools, and ensuring all devices function properly for safe surgical support.

Required state-specific Surgical Technologist certification where applicable, CPR/health certificate as needed, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Travel to Portland, The Dalles, Hermiston locations is anticipated.

Qualifications

Surgical Technologist certification as applicable per state and/or client requirement.
One year experience as a Surgical Technician preferred (Tissue Processing Technologist – only)
Degree in biology related field which includes a degree / certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred
Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
Current CPR if applicable
Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

Sterilize surgical equipment and prepare tools to ensure sterility and readiness for procedures.
Arrange surgical equipment and ensure devices are functioning properly for sterility and safety.
