Qualifications

• Associate Degree or Certificate of Program Completion in Surgical Technology: Required
• Relevant acute care experience: Preferred
• CPR/BLS certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Verifies surgery to be performed with consent forms and brings patient to the assigned operating room.
• Passes instruments to the surgeon during the procedure and anticipates needs for additional supplies.
• Sets up the sterile table with instruments, supplies, equipment, and medications/solutions.
• Prepares sterile dressings and assists in preparing the room for turnover.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
