Intermountain Health Park City Hospital seeks a Surgical Technologist to support the operating room team and assist surgeons during procedures. This full-time role requires reliable attendance, strong sterilization skills, and readiness for call shifts in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Under supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will maintain sterile fields, prepare rooms and instruments, and participate in safety initiatives and room turnover.

Qualificações

• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Completion of an accredited Operating Room Technician (ORT) program, or:
• Graduated from a non-accredited surgical tech program within the past six months (not eligible for Tech in Surgery exam), or
• Two years of scrub tech experience in hospital/military surgical services within the last three years, or
• International training equivalent and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Competent in basic procedures or one or more specialty areas/facility case mix.
• Able to take assigned call.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain sterile field and operating room; ensure sterilization criteria.
• Assist surgeon during procedures within ORT scope.
• Prepare OR and instruments for procedures.
• Assist with room turnover after procedures.
• Support safety plans and participate in operations safety.
