Job summary

USA Baldwin County ASC in Baldwin County, AL is seeking experienced Surgical Technologists to join our team as Scrub Techs in the operating room. You will assist surgeons, nurses, and staff during procedures and help maintain a sterile field.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited surgical technologist program or equivalent training
• Prefer 1–2 years clinical OR experience (0–2 years in related field accepted)
• Must be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS)

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains medical equipment and instrumentation for procedures
• Sets up the sterile field and arranges instruments, drapes, and solutions
• Assists with patient transport, positioning, and draping
• Performs pre-procedure skin prep and safety checks on equipment
• Counts supplies and assists with specimen handling and disposal
• Maintains equipment, sterile supplies, and room cleanliness after procedures
