Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program or equivalent training.
• BLS prerequisite for the role.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains medical equipment and instrumentation for surgical procedures.
• Sets up the sterile field and prepares operating room for surgeries.
• Assists with patient prep, positioning, and transfer as needed.
• Passes instruments and supplies to surgeons and assistants during procedures.
• Cares for specimens and assists with post-procedure room cleanup and turnover.
• Maintains compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
