Job summary

Georgia Urology is seeking a Surgical Technician to support the ambulatory surgery center under RN supervision. You will assist in scrubbing, prepare the operative suite, manage instruments, and uphold sterile technique to ensure patient safety.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program and BCLS certification; one year ASC experience preferred. You will work closely with licensed staff to maintain efficiency and quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Valid BCLS Certification upon employment.
• One year experience in Ambulatory Surgical Center preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing the operative suite and equipment.
• Maintain sterile technique throughout procedures and turnover.
• Assist with patient positioning, draping, and instrument counts.
• Support infection control, waste disposal, and turnover tasks.
• Monitor patient safety and report changes to the RN/MD as needed.
