Job summary

Saint Mary's Hospital in Waterbury, CT is seeking a Nursing Support teammate to assist with perioperative care under RN supervision. The role includes scrubbing, circulating tasks, sterile field setup and chart review support.

Full-time, 32 hours weekly on rotating shifts, with a $7,500 sign-on bonus and benefits from day one. Requires OR Technology education, NBSTSA certification, and BLS. Expect safe patient care and teamwork in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Operating Room Technology.
• Successful completion of NBSTSA certification; Registry Eligible must pass within 18 months of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Scrubbing and assisting with circulating tasks.
• Arranging instruments on sterile field.
• Maintaining an aseptic environment.
• Assisting with pre-operative chart review and checklist.
