Live Well Homecare is seeking a Surgical Technologist to assist surgeons during procedures, ensuring patient safety and maintaining sterile techniques. You will prepare operating rooms, connect patients to clinical equipment, verify surgical sites, manage supplies, and handle specimens.

The role involves active participation in surgical briefings, universal precautions, and supporting patient admission, discharge, and post-operative care.

Qualificações

• Graduation from a Specialty Training Program is required.
• Certification within six months of graduation for graduates after a specific date is necessary.
• Ability to practice aseptic techniques, identify surgical sites, and manage supplies accurately.
• Strong adherence to policies, protocols, and standards of care.
• Ability to perform quality control and emergency procedures, plus duties like specimen collection and patient transport.
