Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Surgical Technologist (OFNHP) to support operating room teams and maintain a sterile environment throughout procedures. You will prepare instruments, equipment, and supplies for surgeries while assisting surgeons and staff during operations.

Your role includes maintaining sterile technique, counting instruments, and aiding in patient positioning and prep, ensuring adherence to infection control and safety protocols in a dynamic OR setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program (Required or based on facility requirements)
• Minimum 1 year of operating room or surgical technology experience (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Prepares operating rooms, surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies before procedures.
• Assists surgeons and other surgical team members during operative procedures.
• Maintains sterile technique and monitors the sterile field throughout procedures.
• Passes instruments, supplies, and equipment to surgeons as required.
• Performs surgical counts of instruments, sponges, and supplies according to established protocols.
• Assists with patient positioning and surgical preparation as directed.
• Follows infection prevention, surgical safety, and equipment handling protocols.
• Cleans, organizes, and prepares instruments and operating rooms after procedures.
