Responsibilities

• Surgical Case Preparation
• Ensure proper equipment, instruments and supplies are provided for procedures and specialty areas.
• Maintain a well organized sterile setup/field at all times.
• Support the circulating RN with procedure/patient preparation.
• Maintain sterile technique and sterile field during procedures.
• Transport patients as needed to the operating room.
• Assist with room turnovers to reduce turnover times.
• Respond promptly to overhead pages and emergencies.
