• Maintains aseptic technique at all times and institute corrective measures in event of contamination.
• Assists and anticipates needs of surgeon for instruments, sutures, sponges, and supplies.
• Maintains organized sterile back table and ensures sterility of instruments before use.
• Receives and labels solutions and medications on the sterile field and verifies them with RN.
• Participates in Universal Protocol; Sign in, Time out and sign out per policy.
• Promotes PRIDE values and collaborates with the team to ensure safe patient outcomes.
