Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of the Surgical Technology program or an accredited LVN/LPN program is required.
• 2+ years of experience preferred.
• BLS required.
• Certified Surgical Technologist within 180 days of graduation or LVN/LPN License required.

Responsibilities

• Performs sterile technique and maintains aseptic conditions in the OR.
• Prepares patient skin and assists in positioning for surgery.
• Scrubs and passes instruments to the surgeon as directed.
• Maintains the sterile field and handles supplies for each case.
• Transports patients to and from the OR and supports the surgical team.
• Follows universal precautions and facility policies for instrument processing.
