Onslow Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, NC is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support surgeries through the full operative process. Responsibilities include preparing the OR, maintaining sterile technique, assisting the surgeon, and ensuring readiness for subsequent cases.

The ideal candidate has graduation from an accredited Surgical Technologist program; CST and CBSPD ambulatory certifications are desirable, with BLS certification required upon hire. Previous OR experience is a plus.

• Graduation from an accredited education program for Surgical Technologists.
• CST certification desired.
• CBSPD Ambulatory certification desired.
• BLS-Certification upon hire.

Responsabilités

• Support surgeries throughout the surgical process by preparing the operating rooms and setting up the sterile field with instruments, equipment and supplies.
• Assist the surgeon throughout the surgical procedure while maintaining sterile technique.
• Prepare equipment and sterilize surgical instrumentation; terminally clean OR suites and perform room turnover.
• Pull case supplies for next day procedures.
