Job summary

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the care team to plan patient care in the perioperative setting.
• Prepares OR rooms with instruments, sutures, supplies, and equipment.
• Maintains aseptic technique and assists with surgical setup and draping.
• Assists in turnover of rooms between cases.
• Communicates changes in patient status to the nursing staff.
• Provides input for changes to instrument cards per surgeon requests.
• Adheres to infection control and safety policies.
