Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist for East Morgan County Hospital in Brush, CO, to join a dedicated surgical team on a full-time night shift. You will prepare the OR, arrange instruments, and maintain a sterile environment while assisting surgeons during procedures.

This role includes turnover and supply stocking, with opportunities to train staff. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and current BLS certification; state registration where required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for surgical procedures; pull instruments and supplies and ensure instruments are in good working order.
• Anticipate surgeon needs; pass instruments and retract tissue.
• Maintain aseptic technique and universal precautions throughout the procedure; dispose of sharps and trash.
• Assist with OR turnover between cases; stock and replenish supplies; clean operating rooms.
• Participate in or lead training and orientation of surgical technology staff and students as assigned.
