Job summary

Banner Health is seeking an Intraoperative Surgical Technologist to join the Banner North Colorado Medical Center surgical team in Greeley, Colorado. You will prepare the operating room, arrange instruments, maintain sterility, and support surgeons and nurses during procedures.

The role emphasizes bedside precision, aseptic technique, and teamwork in a dynamic OR, with registry/per diem scheduling and varied shifts; surgical technologist experience is preferred and a high school diploma with BLS

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED and current basic life support certification.
• Where applicable must be registered with State Regulatory Agency.
• Surgical technologist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares for surgical procedures and ensures instrument readiness.
• Anticipates surgeon needs and passes instruments during procedures.
• Maintains aseptic technique and proper disposal of sharps and waste.
• Ensures accuracy of surgeon preference cards and pick lists.
• Assists with OR turnover and stocking of supplies.
• May provide business support to the department.
• Participates in training and orientation of staff and students.
