Job summary

Banner Health's East Morgan County Hospital in Brush, Colorado, seeks a Surgical Technologist to join the night-shift team. You will assist in the operating room by preparing the environment, arranging instruments, and handing sutures and supplies to surgeons.

The role is full-time (36 hours/week) with varying shift times and weekend/holiday call rotations; you will contribute to a high-quality, sterile surgical workflow and support patient care within a small, community-focused hospital.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and current BLS certification.
• Must be registered with State Regulatory Agency where applicable.
• Graduation from a certified school of surgical technology or two years of operating room experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares for surgical procedures and ensures instruments and supplies are ready.
• Anticipates the surgeon's needs and passes instruments.
• Maintains aseptic technique and proper disposal of sharps and trash; assists with counting and case cart prep.
• Assists with OR turnover and stocking of supplies.
• Participates in training and orientation of staff and students.
