Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a part-time Surgical Technologist for Mount Holly, NJ. The role supports the operating room team by scrubbing, preparing instruments, and assisting with patient transport between units, ensuring a sterile field throughout procedures.

One year OR experience is required; graduates of an accredited Surgical Technology program are favored. BLS is required, and NJ CE credits are expected per year. Shifts are three 10-hour days with on-call duties.

Qualifications

• One year OR Training or Experience.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology Training Program.
• BLS certification required; Surgical Technologist Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs for, prepares, sets-up and assists during any surgical procedure and provides support to nursing and ancillary departments by transporting and transferring patients to and between units when necessary.
• Prepares instruments and supplies for future procedures.
• Collects and handles specimens according to policy and procedures.
