Job summary

Virtua Health in Mount Holly, NJ seeks a Surgical Technologist to manage instruments and supplies during surgery under RN/Physician supervision, maintaining the sterile field and supporting the team for safe, efficient patient care.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology Training Program.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs for, prepares, sets-up and assists during any surgical procedure and provides support to nursing and ancillary departments by transporting and transferring patients to and between units when necessary.
• Prepares instruments and supplies for future procedures.
• Collects and handles specimens according to policy and procedures.
