Qualifications

• One year OR training or experience.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology Training Program.
• BLS certification; Surgical Technologist Certification preferred; NJ CE requirement of 15 per year.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs for, prepares, sets‑up and assists during any surgical procedure and supports nursing and ancillary departments by transporting and transferring patients as needed.
• Prepares instruments and supplies for future procedures.
• Collects and handles specimens according to policy and procedures.
