Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support complex procedures in Cardiac, Neurosurgical, Neuro-interventional, and Transplant specialties. Under RN/Physician direction, you will maintain a sterile field and ensure instruments and equipment are ready for use.

The role requires one year of OR training and graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program, with BLS and surgical technologist certification preferred. Hourly rate listed reflects market ranges.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology Training Program.
• BLS certification preferred.
• Surgical Technologist Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs for and assists during surgical procedures and supports nursing and ancillary departments by transporting patients as needed.
• Prepares instruments and supplies for future procedures.
• Collects and handles specimens according to policy and procedures.
