Job summary

Ogden Regional Medical Center in Ogden, UT, seeks an Obstetric Surgical Technologist for night shift to support newborn deliveries with a highly collaborative obstetrics and surgery team. You’ll prepare the surgical suite, assist with patient positioning, draping, and instrument handling, while maintaining a sterile field and delivering compassionate care.

On-call support and training pathways are provided.

Qualifications

• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Neonatal Resuscitation must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Preparing the surgical suite and organizing instruments, equipment, and supplies to support safe, efficient procedures.
• Assisting with patient positioning, prepping, and draping while maintaining comfort, privacy, and safety.
• Providing instruments, equipment, and hands-on support to the surgical team during obstetric procedures.
• Maintaining a sterile field, performing counts, and ensuring instruments and equipment function properly.
• Working closely with the surgical team to deliver patient-centered care and a seamless surgical experience.
