Job summary

Ogden Regional Medical Center is seeking an Pharmacy Technician for the evening shift to contribute to our hospital pharmacy team. You will help ensure accurate packaging, preparation, storage, and secure handling of medications while supporting hospital staff by phone and in person.

You will interact with a dedicated team, manage drug supplies efficiently, and mentor newer technicians as part of ongoing projects within the Pharmacy Department.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist technician license required.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Maintain medication storage and security.
• Interact with hospital personnel in person and by phone.
• Package and prepare medications for dispensing.
• Transport medications and supplies to hospital areas.
• Perform daily Automated Dispensing Cabinet routines.

Job Summary And Qualifications

As a Pharmacy Technician you will use your skills and compassion in caring for our patients as an integral part of the hospital pharmacy team. Members of that team consider themselves a family where each member works hard to support each other. We are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. In this role:

• You will be responsible for maintaining medication storage and security.
• You will interact with hospital personnel both in person and by phone.
• You will accurately package and prepare medications for dispensing.
• You will transport medications and supplies to various areas of the hospital.
• You will perform daily Automated Dispensing Cabinet routines as assigned.
• You will help manage drug supplies in a cost effective manner and identify opportunities to minimize waste. You will help mentor new technicians and assist the Pharmacy Director with special projects as needed

What qualifications you will need:

• (PharmTech) Pharmacy Technician License
• High School Graduate / GED
